Baby Ely {Newborn Session}

Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing my new nephew's newborn session. This was part 1 of the session, as little man was a tad fussy, as most newborns are. Even though we thought the session was a bust, the few images we did get, we were quite pleased with what we captured.

I just love how he's looking at his mama here.

Precious little head...

Part 2 coming soon!

Little poser

While in Half Moon Bay on Saturday, we stopped at this fun little pub for lunch. During our meal, my hubby was fiddling with my camera and got some cute shots of little missy.

I just love the cute little faces she's starting to make. Her personality is really shining through!

Thanks hubby for the great shots!

Family Beach Day 2013

This past weekend, the family and I headed out to Half Moon Bay for a day of fun in the sun on the beach! We dressed warmly since it was windy and a tad chilly but we had the best time!

Spending quality time as a family making special memories is awesome and I feel so very blessed!

Happy Summer!

Duckies

I pinned a photo the other day and I fell in love with it.

I mean IN LOVE.

So it was a no brainer when I picked up these cute little duckies at BabiesRUs the other day.

Little Miss will become acquainted with these little guys here soon. Can't wait!

Going home day

My sister and her hubby went home from the hospital on Sunday with their new little boy and I had the privilege of capturing the going home events in precious photos. It truly was an honor to be there for them in this special way.

Mama with her boy...

One of my favorite parts of bringing home a new baby is picking out the going home outfit! I just love what my sister picked out for him!

One of my sisters friends brought her this gorgeous bouquet of flowers.

And they were on their way!

They had a wonderful first night home and the next few nights have been just as good. I'm so happy for my sister and her hubby!

Mr. Ely

Please meet my new nephew...

He was born to my sister and brother.in.law on Thursday after trying to have a child for almost two years. What a wonderful blessing he is to our family and I can't wait to see him playing with his cousins!

The glowing mama! Doesn't she look fantastic after just given birth?!

Papa and his newest grandbaby...

Me holding my nephew for the first time.

Welcome little man....we love you so.

Being born is such hard work...

Yummy Baked French Toast Sticks

This morning while cruising through my Pinterest feed, I came across a yummy photo of some french toast sticks. Luckily for me, there was a recipe attached so I decided to make them for the kiddos and myself for breakfast. They were so good!

These were incredibly easy to make too. Just cut, dunk and bake. My kind of cooking, or baking in this case.

I know that this one was a winner when the big kid asked me to make them again tomorrow. I may just do that.

You can check out the original recipe here and I'm also going to post it below.

Let me know if you give'em a try!

Finally!

I have finally put together my photography blog! It's been a long time coming but I'm so glad I've finally put the time into it and I'm excited to get things started!

Thank you thank you thank you for stopping by! Please take a moment to click on the Follow this Site button there on the right. I'll be updating several times a week with photos of my kiddos and the fun things we do together as well as photographs from that weeks photography sessions.

If you could also take a moment to follow me on Facebook, that would make my day! You can find me here.

And since this is a photography blog after all, I can't leave you without a photo! I took this one yesterday when the kids and I were at home trying to figure out what to do with ourselves. I decided to make myself one of the coffee chillers that I had stored in the freezer that I picked up at the grocery store a few weeks ago. After making it, I decided to photograph it. Because you know, I take pictures of my food and drinks when I'm bored, don't you?
