Happiest of birthdays my love.

Today is my hubby's 36th birthday and we celebrated last night with family. I love small gatherings and simple pretty decorations.

Summer fun!

The other day I took the kids to the water park to run around in the water feature. Lucky for us there weren't too many other kids there so Evan got to have a lot of fun!

Abad Family {Bay Area Family Photographer 2013}

Last night I photographed this beautiful family. The light was just gorgeous.

And my favorite so far...

One of the best things about waking up

is playing with the littles in our bed. Miss M was enjoying her morning all to herself with mommy and daddy when big brother stayed the night at grandmas.

Mornings like these are one of the things that make being a parent fun.

DIY 4th of July windsock

This afternoon Evan and I worked together on a fun little 4th of July project. We headed to the craft store and bought some construction paper and a star hole punch. Once we got home, we got to crafting!

All you need for this fun project is:

Large cut blue construction paper
Large cute white construction paper
Star hole punch
Red and white party streamers or ribbon - I used a combination
Clear tape
Glue

With white construction paper, take the star hole punch and punch the heck out of it.

I really like this Martha Stewart punch. They are a tad on the pricey side, so be sure to bring your coupons!

Next glue all your stars to the blue construction paper keeping about a one inch border on the short sides.

Then take your newly starred paper and pull short sides together to form a cylinder. Tape closed. Finally cut the party streamers and/or ribbons and tape to one end of the cylinder. Then take a small piece of the streamer and form it to make a handle at the other end. You're done!

I hope you try it out! Lots of fun for the kids!

Happy 4th of July everyone!
